female electro/rap solo artist

Im KC, a solo artist who blends rap with poppy hooks and electro beats! I have supported bands such as Head Automatica, Shiny Toy Guns, The Ghost Frequency and many more. I have been played on BBC radio Wales, and BBC Radio 1. I was recently on ITV wales program Unsigned along side Stuart Cable (ex Stereophonics) and his new band.    Watching KC on the channel 4 show made me realise how refreshing her music is, as soon as the second band came on it seemed so 'samey' I had to turn off. for this reason alone KC should be at V!

    KC has an awesome sound, you dont even have to be a fan of the electro/grime/rap oriented scene to appreciate the originality and pure catchyness of this music. I think on the basis of her originality alone, KC should win a place at V festival, and give us all a break from the monotonous droning of clone-indie bands.

    KC’s got wicked style going on. An amazing fusion of aggressive hard hitting lyrics, like bands like Skunk and Nancy. Hip hop main stream sound like Gwen Stephanie and new very fresh and very British Rap sound. She is by far the for runner for this competition. Go KC!!!!

    KC is genuinely an individual sound. I listen to her older songs and am very much so into her newer tunes too… Her music isn’t offensive. This is the kind of stuff I want to hear at V. To be honest with you… The rest of the entries are nothing special, just imitations. I will give anyone £50 if they can find someone like KC? It’s a good tune and I hope to hear more from KC. I recommend listening to her on her MySpace. This song is one of many beautiful tunes. After all – We like gay looking guys that are purely hetro. She makes heads roll!     At the end of the day everyone is different with their taste in music and music lovers/ musicians should respect everyone elses tastes and talents. i wouldnt go arround bashing other people when u probably cant do what they can. KC is amazing at what she does, and she obviously has fun with it too, which is good, lifes too short to take everything so seriously, shes good at what shes doing, and making other people happy with her music. anyone who has anything negative to say against her, or anyone else for that fact usually are jealous cuz they either dont have the tallent or passion for it. good luck KC, i really hope you get to win this, from what ive seen you really ******* deserve it girl. im backing you all the way, and so are many others. any idiot who isnt obvioulsy didnt come here to party :D much love Elli Rae xxx
