Manchester based alt-rockers [ we are ] the end are a breath of fresh air in a scene long stagnant with cliches and carbon copy emo shenanigans!

Melding powerful riffs, electronica, layered vocal harmonies, gentle introspection and sonic grooves, they are readying themselves for an all out assault on the music scene.

Formed from the ashes of the acclaimed band Hollywood Ending (who enjoyed a brief burst of attention with their 2004 album 'Praying To Fiction' on Mighty Atom Records), We Are The End are a step further into the musical landscape.

As you'd expect there are still plenty of immense dynamics to immerse yourself in, but We Are The End have done more than weave a complex tapestry of rough and smooth... More than simply create a wild ride of melody and muscle. They have injected a huge amount of SOUL into their musical creations.

That's what people REALLY mean when they talk about emotive music.

Plug yourself in now - and join the ride!!

Band reviews

  1. travelingfaery

excellent music, fantastic band! V should consider themselves blessed to even have them in the running!

  2. lora =]

wtf these are mint they should headline v tbh...

  3. WATEFTW

I'm going to V this year and would love to see [WA]TE play up there! Went last year and the r2V wasn't my sort of music, so I didn't really enjoy it. [WA]TE don't sound anything like Linkin Park! I went to see Linkin Park in Jan and they are not alike! [WA]TE are a very good band, not only musically but I know from my own experience that they are very interactive with the fans, which will prove very fun at a festival! I've never seen them live, being from the dirty South, but from what I've heard they're very professional, very fun and very good - and that's what you want at a festival! And spreading the word about other bands on this profile isn't fair, it wouldn't be fair if one of us lot did it to anyone else, so please don't. Really hope to see [WA]TE at V this year, tbh they'd hype me up a good amount for Muse, so I hope they're on the Saturday down in sunny Chelmsford! Good luck guys, you deserve it :) x

  4. dale1dale

hey sorry guys! diddnt want to start a little thing there! i do like ure music and i didnt want to piss anyone of so sorry! dale my otherside.

  5. SKiNDeeP

Compooters? Hows? I understand the drum machine the beginning! You other guys must be just jealous of a great bnd with a great sound. Not here to start fights.

  6. boz

i magree with dale and karma4! u have truley been basterdized in the studio it seems like u have no shame about it either? i dont understand how u can do that to ure own music? u do relize that it isnt u its a co puter! but i suppose thats just what u do. and i checked out that other band and the singer is ausome like a fresh brendon boyde / somthing ORIGONAL!!!!!!! u should try that and take ure dick out of linkin park lol!

  7. SKiNDeeP

Oh what!!! That's kinda cheeky put biggin up some lame band on somebody elses profile page. Tut tut!!! That's way out line dude! I've been and had a listen to them. After listening to them and listening to [we are] the end and seeing them live and which band would win in a fight. They can pull off ALL the technical trickery you hear on there myspace (myspspace.com/wearetheendmusic). I hope [we are] the end and My Backside or whatever they are called get on the same bill. It'll be worth the ticket price just to see that!!!! LMAO

  8. KARMA4

Hey SKiNDeeP dale1dale agrees with me. And Dale should know after all he is a rock solid drummer of a band called "MY OTHERSIDE"(http://www.roadtov.com/profile/50117) And they are a proper band as Dale likes everyone here know. So if you want to see a proper band why not pay them a visit? Actually I think this is better the more I listen to it having had a stiff drink and a curry…. No doubt there is something “chatting” from my behind as a consequence of it!

  9. dale1dale

vocals are very winy and the music is just sooo linkin park witch means it aint origanal! id listn to it cuz its very well produced but there is no frigin way ud do that live! good studio band.

  10. SKiNDeeP

Come on KARMA4!!!! Now you're chatting out of your behind!! Where you actually watching?! I saw them at the Music Box last week and at the Roadhouse in Feb. Well rockin! So massive sounding and pretty funny live. I'd love to watch these not some clone indie band or some wannabe american pop-punker kids. I KARMA4 should take the socks out of their ears!!!!

  11. KARMA4

Saw this band in Manchester and they sound just like they sound here. Like some guy whinning with a sock in his mouth. I dont think they should play at V not at least if you want anyone to be awake for the next band that is. Well at least you will forget it...

  12. The Caf

This band gotta play V, great music and so much better than all this indie shite these days. Saw [we are] the end in Manchester the other night and they where by far the best band on the night. Make it happen people

  13. Indiekid1991
