2008 INDY MUSIC AWARD NOMINEES, The Morning Side are a London based outfit which was founded by singer/songwriter Daryl Van Horn. After numerous personnel changes, the current line-up came together in early 2007. Within a short period of time, The Morning Side have already begun to cause excitement on the live circuit in London, performing at respected venues such as; The Metro Club, 93 Feet East, The Clapham Grand, The Bull & Gate, The Halfmoon (Putney), and Punk (Soho) amongst others. Recent gigs, which included support for 'Air Traffic' have seen The Morning Side establish a large local fanbase in South London and consistently fill venues. This has made the band hot property with promoters, leading to a 2008 Indy Music Award nomination and offers for high-profile shows.
