The Rrrs formed when Maxima Moog aka Sharliza from Singapore, Rowan Gifted from Hayling Island and Les Woods from Wigan converged in an instant and unlikely fashion at Warwick Uni. They currently live together at Casa del Rrrs in Leamington Spa. They've had 8 drummers in the past and are currently with Mr No. 9, Tom Rocket from a posh bit of Leicester. They've called themselves other names before deciding on The Rrrrrrs, which is pronounced with a tongue roll. Essentially a gutteral noise to go with their 'happy, jolly, wicked' ethos.
