The Rebs are a pop band in the true sense of the word - creating fresh singalongs that couple the alternative with the mainstream. Their mission is simple - to put to shame those big bands whose songs you forget a minute after they have finished. The scenesters. The fads. When playing live the band shine, endearing any audience as they quickly get across what they are all about. 2007 saw them support major acts such as The Enemy, Tiny Dancers, John Power (Cast) and Five O'Clock Heroes, as well as lining-up with Supergrass and The Ordinary Boys at GuilFest - it seems that they are a very well kept secret. With the band taking their influences from good songs, not just hip artists, the results are unique and catchy tunes, inspired by real life stories and ahead of popular culture.     Gash! Anyone reading this who sees RED- this comments for you. We're sick and tired of seeing this RUBBISH get put through the featured profile, and not to mention the marginal mush of bands that have been chosen to go into the final 14 this year! Its exactly the same as last year with style over substance being the dominating factor of what 'should' win. Forget about the bands on here who are real Grafters in trying to develop their unsigned status, and have put in the leg work to maximise in their varied reviews and honest ratings from their support- just pick the ones who have a good photo because they do 'so-so-so much' to get people onto this site in return for getting a profile! Or is just because good bands are discriminated against for making the effort?! Lets all enjoy it then, come on x
