Formed as a result of 2 well timed break ups, 3 previous bands, 4 good friends, 7 days a week free time and the energy that comes with having an average age of only 16, A.E.R have high hopes. A perfect balance of simple and intricate, sense and eccentricity, comedy and tragedy, realism and nonsense and generally the right ratio of hair to face makes this band easy to relate to as a teenager, yet gives them all the mystery they need to keep you guessing. Off the Walls magazine described them as "a band to watch... buzzing with energy... with their dedication it seems dreams become reality". Having played sessions on BBC Radio Foyle, individually supported the likes of The Undertones, Duke Special and Kharma 45 and recorded a 5 track demo in the guitarists study, they can only persevere and hope it won't be long until they are performing to the masses. Their live show is intense, the atmosphere is unbelievable, their sense of humour and laid back approach almost equals their musical ability, and with you're help, they could be the band you would go out of you're way to see at this years V Festival.

Fer plucks sake!!
Argggh 'member I told you about the whole kerfuffle I hadi go through to get a new profile? (No? Shame on you) I spelt the email wrong!!! And there's no way of changing it!!! So I don't know if I'm gonna have to get an email at some point but if I am then, I guess I'm sacked.. only other problem is signing in like. Stick in an extra o... maybe make another email address, who knows! Anyways Ciao for now Luka -

The long and winding road (to v)
Well we're here, finally! I've been having panic attacks the last couple of days trying to get the band up... we had a profile from last year so we couldn't sign up to another one with the same address but that one wouldn't let us update our profile so I've had to go and make a whole new one!!! Ah well.. I have nothing better to do with my time anyway! Feargus is away in Bristol helping out his mum record an album (festive flutes - rock n roll!) with Robert Plant's bassist apparently! And grimeys over in Germany with school, being his usual crazy self I'd imagine, so I've been having my usual late night flings with creativity, then waking up in the morning, looking at the shape of the lyrics I made up 4 or 5 hours previously and saying "what the hell was I thinking?.." Other than that, life's been as per usual in Ireland.. not being able to go 5 minutes without someone saying "...I can't wait for the summer!" and going through all 4 seasons in a day. This morning it was snowing, right now there's little baby sheep running round the hammock in my garden. Ok not that many seasons. Anyways, if you've read this far, you're clearly perseverent enough to give us a wee review so please do!! And ye know, tell yer friends :) Love ye (I don't really, it's just that singers have the right to say that to just about anyone. It's all in the contract) Luka
