The Wireless first formed in early 2001 as a primitive garage punk outfit. Since then they have re-worked and developed their sound into something that is at once severe and uncompromising, whilst also retaining the vulgar primality of their earlier recordings. Felix, Danny, and Hugh were used to pounding away at their instruments in Dannys attic, so when it came down to forming a band they already had the foundations of an unrefined, yet devastating rhythm section. Martin was picked up on an over-seas transfer in order to make ends meet; the fact that he didnt speak English was of little importance, the band were intrigued by his awkwardness and thought he would fit in well as a lead guitarist. Writing was a process of trial and error at first, as the band thrashed around in a state of orgiastic primordial creativity, listening through afterwards in order to attain a deeper understanding of their creative selves. It wasnt until earlier this year though, that during a particularly gruelling and unhealthy recording session in lower Clapton, the band decided a small yet crucial element of the sound was missing. After trying out an organ over some of the tracks, they came to their conclusion and started about the search for the 5th member of the band. Adverts were posted up in all the coolest hangouts in North and East London and, not before auditioning and denying numerous applicants, they finally came across Josef. Josef was something of an orphan and little is known about his formative years. Despite this he got on really well with the entire band and they ended up taking him in as one of their own. Hopefully it won't be long until he learns how to play the keyboard www.myspace.com/thewireless

To be fair....you cant be that better than them....as you wernt picked for the orignal lineup of 14.....or did you forget that ?

  17. Wireless

to be fair to us. we are a lot better than any of the bands in the competition and our fans couldn't really help but assert this to the best of their ability. don't get me wrong i'm entirely one for humility but seriously... think about it a bit

  18. orangeblossom

Not very original in my opinion.....got bit boring after a couple of songs.... And your fans are very rude!
