Win tickets for you and your band to visit this year's V Festival by entering our Best blog competition! We're offering you and your bandmates another chance to get to the hottest festival of the summer - and all you have to do is write a blog. Sounds too easy? That's because it is! We're looking for the funniest, frankest, most original blogs about your band, life on the road, the Road to V competition, fights in the recording studio… anything you think will interest our judges. The blog that makes us laugh the most or that's most original will win up to 6 day tickets to the V Festival in Staffordshire. So register or log in now, and visit your band's profile page to start updating your blog. Good luck! Participation Rules Road to V Band blog: Only one entry per Road to V band. You must be 16 years old or over and resident in the UK (incl. NI) and if you are under the age of 18 you will need to have your parents consent to enter. The Promoter intends, but does not undertake, to produce for Channel 4 the show provisionally entitled "Road to V" (the “Programme”). Enter by writing a blog on the Road to V website www.roadtov.com between 7 April and (your “Entry”). Your band must have registered to participate in the Road to V Competition. By entering, you will be deemed to accept these participation rules. Entries will be judged on (i) originality [and (ii) humour]. The Promoters' decision is final at all stages and no correspondence will be entered into. Winner will be notified by 1st May 2008. Prize: Up to a maximum of 6 standard Saturday day tickets to V Festival Stafford on 16th August 2008 for winner and up to 5 band members. Travel to and from V Festival and hospitality is not included in the prize. There is no cash alternative. Prize not transferable. Your Entry will be published on the Road to V website. You waive any moral rights in your Entry (if applicable) for the purposes of this competition. In consideration of the Promoter including your Entry and permitting you to enter into the competition, you grant the Promoter for the purposes of the competition only a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, sub-licensable right and license to: (a) use, reproduce, edit, publish, distribute, perform, play and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to your Entry worldwide and/or to incorporate your contribution in other works in any media for the full term of any rights that may exist in your Entry; (b) use any trademarks, service marks or trade names incorporated in your Entry; and (c) use the name and likeness of any individuals represented in your Entry. The Promoter undertakes to use your Entry for the purposes of this competition only. Your Entry must not contain any material that is illegal, immoral, obscene or indecent, any material that is not your own (e.g. any samples), anything fraudulent, libellous, defamatory and it must not infringe any third party's rights and you hereby indemnify the Promoter against any claims which may arise if your Entry does so. You acknowledge that these rules may be altered at any time by the Promoter. The winner may be required by the Promoter to take part in publicity. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Programme in whole or in part for any reason without liability to you.
